Job Title: BIM Coordinator
Job Description

We are seeking a motivated BIM Coordinator to join our dynamic design team in Springfield, VA. As an Electrical Revit Drafter, you will be responsible for performing red lines, markups, and producing construction drawings for various commercial, industrial, and government electrical construction projects. This position primarily involves drafting in Revit and requires coordination with other disciplines to ensure the successful completion of projects.

ResponsibilitiesPerform red lines and markups on electrical construction drawings.Produce detailed construction documents for electrical projects.Create and manipulate Revit families and assemblies.Conduct 3D modeling and BIM coordination.Coordinate clashes and clear them efficiently.Set up and create Revit families for various projects.Essential SkillsProficiency in creating electrical construction documents.Strong knowledge of Revit.Experience with electrical design and drafting.Ability to handle construction documents and modeling.2+ years of electrical experience.Experience with redlines, markups, and production of construction documents.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in AutoCAD.Experience in 3D modeling.Strong understanding of BIM and electrical systems.Work Environment

The work schedule is from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, primarily onsite. The company offers a supportive and friendly environment, reflecting a mom-and-pop atmosphere despite their growth. The team enjoys various social events such as attending Nats games, holiday parties at Laurel Racetrack, and participating in a golf tournament in October.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
