Kforce has a client that is seeking a BIM Detailer for a 2-3 months contract to hire opportunity. This role is on-site and can sit at any of these locations: Sparks, NV; Fremont, CA; Lathrop/Palo Alto/Reno, CA; Austin, TX. Summary: The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex projects and can multi-task and collaborate technically with several disciplines. The BIM Detailer will work under the technical supervision Construction Managers, Engineers, and Architects. Responsibilities: * Drafting and Detailing: Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on specifications and design plans using BIM software like Revit * Collaboration: Working closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure that drawings are accurate and meet project requirements * Revisions: Updating and revising drawings as needed based on feedback and changes in project scope * Quality Control: Ensuring that all drawings comply with company standards and relevant building codes * Documentation: Maintaining organized records of all drawings and related documents * Coordination: Assisting in the coordination of different building systems to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth integration * Support: Providing support to the project team by answering questions and resolving any issues related to the drawings * Strong working knowledge of common construction materials and methods, especially within MEP divisions with understanding of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Airflow Diagrams, and Electrical One Line Diagrams
