Job Description
We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our Dallas, TX team and support one of our semiconductor clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-discipline Trade contractors, reviewing models, developing procedures, and proactively working with the entire project team to resolve issues related to space management and model coordination. The role aims to facilitate pre-fabrication and reduce work in the field, acting as the ultimate expert in space coordination and the primary focal point for the client and trade contractors. This position is not remote and requires the selected individual to live locally within commuting distance to the Dallas, TX office.
ResponsibilitiesManage activities of VDC/BIM employees and projects.Develop and maintain BIM project schedules and milestones.Generate key KPI requirements for the client.Establish BIM standards for quality and monitor adherence through expertise and direction provided on job sites and at BIM coordination meetings.Chair, coordinate, and attend regular meetings with stakeholders to manage scope, schedule, and budget.Provide expertise to the business unit, including information regarding local standards, owner standards, and other requirements.Identify opportunities to expand the business and drive strategic growth.Advise Project Leadership on staffing and related issues during project setup.Conduct workshops and training to apply BIM to both preconstruction and project activities.Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives.Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of contract documents, both 2D and related 3D deliverables.Visit job sites as required to troubleshoot BIM issues and resolve problems.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills5+ years of experience working in BIM/VDC.Experience in managing BIM/VDC projects.Familiarity with multi-discipline Trade contractors and model coordination.Proven success in a similar role within EPCM companies.Experience with facility design for cleanrooms, laboratories, semiconductor fabs, data centers, solar manufacturing, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in the industrial sector.MEP experience.Proficiency in BIM, Revit, Industrial, Mechanical, and Plumbing.Work Environment
This role requires the selected individual to work on-site in Dallas, TX. The work involves direct interaction with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner's representatives. The environment includes job site visits to troubleshoot BIM issues and resolve problems. The position offers a collaborative and dynamic setting, requiring regular coordination meetings to manage scope, schedule, and budget
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00
