About the Opportunity
As a BIM Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing Building Information Modelling (BIM) implementation across our projects. You will play a crucial role in driving digital strategy, ensuring effective collaboration between internal and external teams, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects that meet client requirements and company standards. Key responsibilities will be\:
Manage the roll-out and implementation of key BIM documentation across client organizations, program of works, and at the project level. Interface effectively with clients, design teams, and contractors to implement BIM methodologies and best practices from strategy through to project delivery. Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment, fostering a culture of innovation and continual improvement. Conduct structured checks, reviews, and validations of project models, including clash detection and validating data against the client's information requirements. Oversee and ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans (BEP) throughout the project lifecycle. Provide BIM-related training and development to team members and stakeholders to enhance capability and understanding of BIM processes. Manage information workflows using a Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure effective data exchange and communication among project stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of international BIM standards, specifically ISO 19650, and how to apply them. Experience in creating and maintaining key BIM documentation, such as BIM Execution Plans, Model Production Delivery Tables, and Asset Information Requirements. Demonstrated understanding of the roles, relationships, and workflows involved in a BIM-enabled project environment. Practical experience with 3D modelling software, such as Navisworks, Revit, or Aveva 3D, and using BIM tools for clash detection and coordination. Experience in a multidisciplinary environment, including working with architectural, civil, structural, and mechanical services. BIM-related certification (e.g., Certified Professional in BIM) or project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2 or PMP) are highly desirable. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a small team in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interface with clients and stakeholders and convey complex technical concepts effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions based on data analysis.
