We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **BIM Model Manager** to join our team! In this role you will get to **oversee the development, coordination, and management of accurate and compliant BIM models across various disciplines, ensuring quality, integration, and collaboration on large-scale projects, with a focus on airport infrastructure.** **What You'll Be Doing:** **BIM Model Management:** + Oversee the development and management of all BIM models for the project, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and meet project specifications. + Collaborate with project teams to ensure that all models are integrated correctly across various disciplines (architecture, structural, MEP, etc.). **Team Coordination & Collaboration:** + Lead and mentor the BIM modeling team, providing technical guidance and support to ensure best practices in model development. + Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of models and resolve any issues that arise. **Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance:** + Ensure BIM models meet the project's quality standards and comply with industry-specific guidelines and protocols. + Conduct regular quality checks, clash detection, and resolve any issues related to model discrepancies or coordination. **Software & Tools Management:** + Utilize and maintain BIM software platforms (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) for creating and managing models. + Implement and optimize the use of BIM tools and workflows to streamline processes and improve efficiency. **Documentation & Reporting:** + Ensure accurate documentation of model revisions, design changes, and project progress. + Provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders on BIM model status and any potential challenges or delays. **Continuous Improvement & Innovation:** + Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in BIM and propose new tools, techniques, or practices that can improve modeling efficiency and accuracy. + Promote and implement innovative solutions for model management to support project delivery timelines and budgets. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. + Minimum of **8-10 years of experience** in BIM management or modeling, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. + Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD). + Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows. + Excellent leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Experience with **large-scale projects** and **airport infrastructure** projects is highly preferred. + Ability to manage multiple models and teams simultaneously, ensuring consistency and efficiency. + Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex modeling issues. + Experience with managing BIM on large-scale infrastructure or airport projects is highly advantageous.
