A precast concrete manufacturing company located in the western suburbs of Chicago is looking to add a BIM Modeler to their team!

Job Description:

Prepare all work in accordance with approved office processes, formats and standardsWork on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, performing, as appropriate, engineering analyses and calculationsWork on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, preparing required documents in CAD or BIMWork on prospects for sales developing presentations using Revit, Tekla or other 3D modeling platformsPerform tasks accurately and on time with necessary guidance, and proactively seek advice on tasks as neededManage projects efficiency, communicating and coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, etc.Participate in or lead project meetingsManage other staff members, as required, when assigned as a Task LeaderMeet task deadlines and adhere to budgeted hoursParticipate in external/in-house seminars and training activities/sessionsParticipate in the development of in-house processes, checklists and standards

Qualifications:

Minimum of Junior College Associates Degree5+ years of work experience in a related fieldAbility to model projects in CAD and BIM independentlyPrecast experienceFamiliarity with TeklaAbility to manage projects independently and communicate/coordinate with clientsAbout Actalent
