Job Description

The CADD/BIM Manager is responsible for setting the direction of CADD/BIM drawing development working with other CADD/BIM leads and CADD/BIM operators including project CADD/BIM setup and CADD/BIM file maintenance. The CADD/BIM manager must ensure that all aspects of CADD/BIM are performed with quality and efficiency, working to develop and utilize a CADD/BIM library of typical and other CADD/BIM details.  Additionally, the CADD/BIM Manager will also specify and recommend staff development, training, support of industry and society involvement/membership, career and responsibility growth. The CADD/BIM Manager shall also remain current on new technologies within their discipline.

Performs various management, leadership, and training responsibilities

Has full responsibility for digital implementation of project visualization solutions and presentation engineering solutions in a visual mode with full responsibility for cross trade coordination and clash detection

Generally requires multi- disciplinary understanding of engineering trades

Plans and develops work  plans to allow proper  implementation and  adaptation of project digital applications across  multiple disciplines

Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization

Maintains good knowledge for various development in the digital solution applications to the engineering and architectural profession

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a variety of BIM software including but not limited to: Revit,  Navisworks, BIM360Experience with Bentley Open Buildings is a plus Familiarity with Autodesk,  Revit API & Dynamo, as  well as Grasshopper for  Rhino, are pluses.Proficiency in MS Office SuiteAbility to effectively meet  deadlinesAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingExperience with a variety of software packages including Design Suite, Assemble, PlangridExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite Experience with a variety of design software
