We’re looking for a BIM Technician to join our Structural Engineering team in our Irvine office. The Structural Engineering team works on a variety of project types and are exposed to all market sectors and material types.
An ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of all phases of a project, from design to construction, and a resilient passion for sustainability and ingenuity. We are looking for a stellar individual who wants to change the world, one project at a time. As a BIM Technician, you will...
+ Offer BIM/CAD production support as assigned from sketches, verbal or written instructions.
+ Generate BIM/CAD construction documents.
+ Assist with project production and administration.
+ Provide non-BIM/CAD computer software support.
+ Develop an understanding of structural construction document organization and production.
+ Learn building design and construction terminology.
+ Cultivate time management skills and ensure tasks are accurately completed on schedule.
+ Learn and adhere to office standards of design, quality control, and production.
+ Develop organizational skills and adopt a detail-oriented and collaborative approach.
+ Assist project/studio/office leadership with other duties as assigned.
BIM Technician Qualifications - The Must-Haves (Required)
+ Associate degree in Architecture, Engineering, or an equivalent BIM/CAD technical degree
+ 0 – 2+ years of structural BIM/CAD construction document production experience
+ Proficiency in BIM/Revit
+ Familiarity with Bluebeam
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
BIM Technicial Qualifications - The Like-to-Haves (Not Required)
+ Prior internship experience in structural BIM/CAD construction document production is preferred
Salary Range: $53,500 - $70,400 annually. Compensation DOE and location.
