Bindery Operator

The Pioneer Group, a Hearst Newspaper Company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Bindery Operator to support the printing of four daily newspapers as well as commercial web offset printing. This is a day shift role and when not running a stitcher you will be trained on Ink Jet Mailing, and Inserter machine operation. 

Responsibilities

Muller-Martini Saddle stitcher machine operation Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting,  Machine repair Cross-training and staff scheduling Packaging, and skid loading 

Qualifications

high school diploma. 1+ years’ experience operating a Stitcher-Trimmer Current hold or able to obtain a forklift license. Experience with mechanical troubleshooting. A sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines. Strong math skills Team player and crew leadership
