Diazyme, an affiliate of General Atomics, is a cGMP and ISO 13485 certified medical device manufacturer. Diazyme uses its proprietary enzyme technologies to develop diagnostic reagents which can be used on most automated chemistry analyzers in user-friendly formats. Their products include test kits for diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, liver disease, cancer markers, renal disease, diabetes, and electrolytes.
 We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bio-Technician in our Diazyme Laboratories. Under supervision, this position is responsible to perform testing for customer feedback, customer and internal data collection, assay troubleshooting, and assay continuous improvement projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform internal testing on various chemistry and chemiluminescent platformsHelp customer for data collection, analysis and troubleshooting a variety of complex issues utilizing product knowledge and subject matter expertiseApplication development and optimizationCollaborate with team membersDevelop and maintain various electronic and hard copy recordsMay perform off site testing, installation and validationMaintains strict confidentiality of sensitive informationPerform other duties as assignedResponsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
