Job Title: Chemist Job Description As an Analyst, you will run biological extractions on samples such as urine, blood, and plasma. Initially, you will focus on wet lab extractions before transitioning to LC-MS (HPLC-Mass Spec) after approximately 6 months. You will later operate robotics for liquid handling and work with various laboratory instruments including balances, pH meters, and pipettes. Every chemist will use a tablet with eWorkbook software. Shift: 1st 7:30-4:15 p.m. Qualifications + B.S. Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related Life Science Degree + 1+ year of chemistry in school or undergraduate research experience working with pipettes, prep of solutions and etc + HPLC or LC-MS or Mass Spec experience is great! + Food service/bartending/waitress or client facing experience + Looking for individuals that take high ownership of their work. Responsible for recognizing the errors they made and what they did to implement changes for the future Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Madison, Wisconsin. Work Environment Lab setting in the Bioanalytical team, consisting of around 100 employees and primarily lab-focused.
