Job DescriptionPerform cell-based bioassays and surrogate bioassays such as ligand-binding ELISA assays in plate-based format in a GMP environmentPerform qualification and transfer of analytical test methods in the GMP environmentDocument laboratory work in notebooks/enotebooks and log books, perform data integrity checks, data verification reviews, and communicate final results through electronic systemsCoach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvementsCoordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TATPrepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growthCollaborate closely with leaders and clients in implementing overall business directives

QualificationsExperience with reporter-gene assay, cell biology skills such as cell culturing, cell counting, cell banking; GMP quality system and lab operations experience Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesBachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)Leadership experience 4+ years related lab experience Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with people from a wide range of skill levels and experienceAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesAbility to work independently and as part of a team, and possess self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeDemonstrated ability to work as an independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, result-driven and highly flexible team-player in a fast-paced working environmentStrong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivityProactive, positive, solution-oriented leadership style with ability to prioritize and coordinate simultaneous projects with varying deadlinesStrength in employee engagement, morale, and retention

Position is Monday-Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm Overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of  Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
