Bioinformatics Engineer

Description

This role will be on a bioinformatics team that is responsible for developing new methods and algorithms, working closely with assay teams to create best-in-class products, and delivering solutions to customers in local and cloud computing environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a cross functional team, translating the challenges faced by the group into bioinformatics solutions. The position requires a strong background in bioinformatics with an interest in algorithm development, statistical modeling, and delivering high quality products to customers.

Responsibilities:

Develop bioinformatics analysis solutions for a wide variety of projects across various data types and platforms.

Apply best practice software methods to analyze large-scale biological data for next-generation sequencing, and proteomics in a fast-paced product development environment.

Design and develop pipelines to address novel analytical challenges and to automate established analysis both locally and in the cloud computing environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.
