We are seeking a Bioinformatics High Performance Computing (HPC) System Admin to join IQVIA Laboratories in Durham, NC in a Hybrid role.

You will be assisting with the development and implementation of an enterprise architecture that supports future IQVIA systems, products, and platforms, aligning with business product strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
Assisting with the ongoing development and implementation of an enterprise architecture.Participating in cross-functional product development and acting as a consultant to provide system and technical advice.Staying updated with technology changes and identifying opportunities for implementation in future systems.Participating in R&D projects and managing them in compliance with standard project management practices.Mentoring and assisting lower-level architects, system administrators, and business analysts.What we are looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.Five (5) years of experience in Linux System Administration and architecture.IT consulting or project management experience.Exposure to enterprise architecture and petabyte storage systems.Other equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.The knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this role:
Strong scripting skills in bash and one other scripting language.Strong knowledge of Docker and VMWare.Strong knowledge of NFS.Comfortable in an HPC environment and with the SLURM Scheduler.Familiarity with SALT server management is a huge bonus.Familiarity with working in a regulated environment is a bonus.Ability to apply technology to business strategies and employ consulting skills.Broad knowledge of current technology, tools, and techniques for software development.What we offer you:

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $108,800.00 - $181,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
