BIOLOGIST 1-3 - EDUCATION/ SHOOTING SPORTS/ WOODWORTH This position is responsible for the delivery of LDWF Shooting Sports programs, firearms safety and use trainings, and assists in operations and maintenance of a public shooting range in assigned area. The incumbent presents basic to advanced educational programs to the public on firearm skills, safety, and shooting sports including Archery in Louisiana Schools (ALAS). In addition, recruits, trains, and coordinates a network of volunteer shooting sports instructors and range safety officers to offer related public programs. Participates in statewide LDWF educational events. May be assigned supervisory duties over one WLF technician. Frequent night and weekend work is required.
