POSITION: Biologist

SALARY: $ 108,285/year

HOURS: 40 hours

DUTIES:

Biologist sought to apply biology knowledge to coordinate b/w our lab and clients for the assessment, development & implementation of scientific and technical solutions on our genomic services. Educate customers about different Next Generation Sequencing technologies and platforms. Answer technical questions about the experiment protocols and help customers understand the deliverables. Optimize clients’ experiment designs & develop customized sequencing strategies for the best result. Participate in research & development of new strategies for using the various high-throughput sequencing & bioinformatics tools.

REQUIREMENT:

Requires knowledge on Structure of DNA and RNA, gene expression, genome, transcriptome, genome sequencing and mapping, gel electrophoresis, microarray, protein identification and quantification. PCR, qPCR, NGS, DNA/RNA extraction and measurement; the mainstream NGS platforms, technologies & applications; using computational and statistical tools ZBOLT and MegaBOLT to analyze genetic sequencing &biological data. Master's Degree in Public Health and two years’ related experience is required.
