The Sales Representative is responsible for actively promoting the company’s products and services to a defined customer base in New Jersey, Delaware and Long Island. The successful candidate is expected to implement a sales plan designed to achieve established sales goals, call on prospective and current customers and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
This position reports to the Sr Sales Manager and is part of the QC & Biomanufacturing team located in Loveland, CO and will work remotely to cover New Jersey, Delaware and Long Island.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Participate in sales activities including: customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade shows and seminars, product demonstrations, customer seminars, internal sales meetings and channel management.
+ Annually submit and implement a detailed sales plan identifying: sales objectives, sales opportunities, major customers, and regional shows to be attended during the fiscal year.
+ Perform all sales activity within an assigned geographic territory using proven understanding of tactical and strategic sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers)
+ Submits monthly forecast and maintains timely and accurate funnel details
+ Collects and reports information on all competitive activity within the assigned territory on company CRM SalesForce
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in science or closely related field
+ 5+ years’ sales experience with a demonstrated track record of success in a Biomanufacturing / Life Sciences industry. Experience with particle counting characterization ( PCC ) is strongly preferred.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers. Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day
+ Proven ability to build long term effective relationships with all kind of business partners (distributors, dealers, key accounts, end-users, opinion makers) as well as the validated ability to lead and develop those relationships
+ Results-driven with demonstrated initiative and personal accountability to meet work demands according to the highest standards, while being able to prioritize and balance competing needs
Additional Requirements :
+ Ability to travel –50% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
+ Must live in NJ, NY, DE or Long Island area and support clients in region.
+ Valid drivers license and ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.

The salary range for this role is $90,000-$120,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
