Under general supervision performs repair, installation and calibration on a wide variety of complex electromechanical, electrical and electronic systems used throughout the hospital. Responsible for the diagnosis and correction of systems to the component level with or without the aid of schematic diagrams.
QUALIFICATIONS  All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently.    LEVEL OF EDUCATION  Minimum: Associate's Degree in Electronics or certificate in electronics technology or 2 years electronics work experience  Preferred: Associate's Degree in Electronics    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS  Preferred: Certificate in electronics technology or biomedical electronics technology    TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS  Minimum: Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and appliances    YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE  Minimum: 2 years of experience in the biomedical electronics field.
