We have an outstanding Contract position for a Biomed Electronics Technician to join a leading Company located in the Irvine, CA surrounding area.
Pay Range: $20 - $24
The Biomed Electronics Technician 2 is responsible for effectively and efficiently completing configuration as needed in their respective departments of Patient Monitoring and Neurology. Job Responsibilities:Assume responsibility for the timely and accurate repair of defective or damaged products for some company product lines.Configuration of loaner or replacement equipmentDocument all investigation results and repair requirementsStay technically current with all product lines.Assume responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, communication, and coordination with Company personnel and management.Perform weekly cycle counts and inventory audits.Assists in the development of device-specific training modulesKeep management informed of area activities and any problems that may arise.Attend and participate in meetings as required.Works effectively in a team environment. Respects diversity and resolve differences respectfullyAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business needs.
Basic Hiring Criteria:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience with medical device repair and assembly (electronic repair experience on PCB, wires, cables, connectors, etc.).Basic computer skills and familiarity with Office Products and SAPLevel and compensation depend on location, experience, education, and skills.
Desired Qualifications:BMET graduate Able to troubleshoot and repair products quickly.Good communication skills.Well-organized and attentive to detail.Able to use all related technical applications.Ability to use various hand tools.Able to instruct others on procedures as needed.Able to edit and write new procedures as needed.Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
SCHEDULE: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Company's discretion.
