Here's what you can expect as a Biomedical Director at DaVita:

In this role, you will report to the Vice President of Biomedical Services, located in Denver, CO. The Biomedical Director interfaces with diverse functional lanes has a high level of visibility with senior leadership given the strategic and collaborative nature of the work. Leveling will be in alignment with experience.

This position is responsible for facilitating a wide array of strategic and operational projects in the Biomedical Services/Support lane. Projects are related to creating, implementing, and driving results through our group that manages all medical devices and medical device process across DaVita. The position will collect and deploy best practices to ensure the highest quality care and consistent experiences throughout DaVita clinics nationally. The role will also lead the execution of scalable quality and innovation projects and change initiatives that advance DaVita’s multi-year biomedical goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Build strong relationships with internal partners (Operations, Risk, Clinical Support, IT, Field Biomed, etc.) and external vendorsBuild relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders, internal and externalDrive improvement in medical device quality process throughout the companyCreate and edit impactful, succinct written communicationsLead not just through title but through influence, providing strategic guidance and effecting change outside of lane Prepare executive-level presentations to share with all levels of leadershipSynthesize numerous analyses, translate into specific actions, and gain buy-in to executeChallenge status quo operations to identify and implement transformative changeTravel estimated 5-10%Denver Preferred (not required. This can be a remote role)

Education and Experience

Required: Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred)Required: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.Preferred: Experience in a Medical device or Pharmaceutical manufacturing company, particularly in product quality or service roles.

Salary/ Wage Range

$100,100.00 - $147,000.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
