The equipment base can be varied or reside primarily in the same modality as well as being located in multiple and diverse facilities and departments. Types of equipment include but are not limited to life support, diagnostic, therapeutic, analytical, and general patient care. Responsible for the medical equipment maintenance process as a whole for the equipment residing within their discipline.
