Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician to ensure the optimal functioning of medical devices and equipment at MAMC. Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a wide range of biomedical equipmentTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safelyCollaborate with medical staff to provide technical support and training on the use of equipmentMaintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performanceAdhere to all safety regulations and standards to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repairStrong knowledge of medical equipment and its operationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCertification from the International Certification Commission (ICC) as a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) is preferred but not required
