Biomedical Equipment Technician Intern
The Biomedical Equipment Technician Internship responsibilities include (but are not limited to): + Learn about and assist with electrical safety inspections, preventive maintenance inspections, & calibrations + Assist with identifying and rectifying any equipment deficiencies per manufacturer’s specifications + Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all medical equipment, network hardware, and infrastructure managed by the Clinical Engineering Department + Ensure all medical equipment meets regulatory standards and complete all documentation with regards to inventory, inspection, repair, parts ordering, and device labeling before equipment is returned to service + Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited undergraduate or graduate program at a public or private College/University, and be in good academic standing at their institution + Must be committed to completing the duration of the internship from June 2025 - August 2025 + Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship + Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science majors highly preferred + Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Office Suite proficiency + Must possess strong attention to detail, ability to collaborate on a team, and strong verbal and written communication skills EEO STATEMENT Atlantic Health System, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer and federal contractor or subcontractor and therefore abides by applicable laws to protect applicants and employees from discrimination in hiring, promotion, discharge, pay, fringe benefits, job training, classification, referral, and other aspects of employment, on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity and sexual orientation), national origin, citizenship status, disability, age, genetics, or veteran status
