Biomedical Imaging Equipment Technician

With our combined resources CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community. **Responsibilities** **Job Summary / Purpose** _This position provides specialized repair (radiology, nuclear medicine) and maintenance services to diagnostic imaging and/or laboratory equipment, and biomedical equipment._ **Essential Key Job Responsibilities** + _Performs repair and maintenance primarily on general imaging such as X-Ray units, Portable X-Ray units, Fluoroscopy Systems, CR Units, and Mammography units._ + _Completes all necessary record keeping for work orders received and finished._ + _Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the most cost effective maintenance of medical imaging equipment._ + _Provides on-call coverage on a rotating basis and other duties as assigned._ + _Repairs and maintains medical equipment under contract and performs general biomedical duties and functions as required._ + _Provides input to the CE Manager regarding new service opportunities within a location serviced by the Clinical Engineering Division._ **Non-essential Job Responsibilities** + _Other duties as assigned by management_ + _Must keep up to date on technological and medical advances_ + _Must maintain up to date understanding of The Joint Commission, NFPA, and other regulatory agencies/standards._ _The job summary and responsibilities listed above are designed to indicate the general nature of the work performed within this job. Employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned._ **Qualifications** **_Education:_** _Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, equivalent military education, graduate of technical program, or equivalent training validated through training certificates, or equivalent experience._ **_EXPERIENCE:_** _A minimum of 2 years’ experience servicing technical equipment_ **_Valid Driver’s License_** _\#LI-CSH_ **Pay Range** $30.47 - $44.19 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
