Biomedical Research Clinical Affairs Intern
The Clinical Affairs Summer Intern for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting the human clinical trials that validate Beckman Coulter clinical chemistry and immunoassay instruments and support FDA clearance for our products. The summer intern may have exposure to clinical trial protocol creation, site qualification, site monitoring, and clinical trial final report creation. The summer intern will also participate in continuous improvement activities that find innovative ways to make Beckman’s clinical trial research more effective. The summer intern should also have a willingness to perform administrative, repetitive tasks, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, generally a good worker with high work ethic and good communication skills. The essential requirements of the job include: + Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science or pre-medicine. + A strong desire to learn more about clinical trial research. + A firm understanding of the scientific research process. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + FDA regulations + Data analysis and statistics The hourly range for this role is $30.00.
