Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management is seeking a Biomedical Sterilizer Equipment Specialist to work with highly recognized medical facilities. This is a Sterilizer Field Service position servicing locations across Endeavor Health. You will utilize your current skills in the HTM field to support Sodexo's existing operations at the Arlington Heights, Chicago, Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park, Skokie campuses. This is the perfect role for an accomplished BMET looking to specialize in sterilization.

What You'll Do Inspect, repair, maintain, calibrate, and ensure all related sterilization equipment (Steris and ASP sterilizers) is maintained in a quality and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service and communications skills as well as strong technical skills and commitment to deliver excellent repair service in an expedient manner. Participates in and conducts on-the job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements. What We Offer

Experience effectively repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices specific to hospital decontamination, Steris or ASP sterilizers, and equipment sterilization. Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.The ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical devices. Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills. Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot. Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
