Position Description: 

Our Test Technicians experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by leading initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and updating medical devices at a specific location in New York. This is a great opportunity for you to advance your technical and leadership skills!

General Job Requirements: 

Biomedical technician degree, CBET or electronics related Associate degree highly preferred. Equivalent experience in electromechanical/electronic technology repair will be considered.Recent college graduates and military veterans with experience in an electronics related MOS are encouraged to apply!1 year of experience minimum troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and updating electronic or electromechanical hardware required; equivalent education will be considered.Ability to work 40 hours weekly 1st (6am - 2pmEST) or 2nd (2:30pmEST - 11pmEST) shift work Monday through Friday required.Ability to work overtime on Saturdays highly preferred.Proficient computer skills required to enter data, navigate, and routinely toggle between various applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and company software programs are required.Must be able to wear applicable personal protective equipment (PPE), including compliance wearing safety glasses in designated areas, required.Ability to sit and or stand for long periods of time with frequent walking, stooping, reaching, grasping, and using fine & gross motor manipulation.Must be able to lift up to 30lbs on a routine basis and occasionally up to 41lbs.

Required Electrical Hardware Experience:

Must have intermediate troubleshooting abilities in the discipline of electronics.

Experience using electrical system testing and diagnostics tools required (Example - multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).Ability to independently troubleshoot electronic hardware down to component level to effectively determine root cause of failure required.Ability to write clear and concise reports to sufficiently capture and defend evaluation findings required.Experience in reverse engineering highly preferred

Responsibilities: 

Organizing, testing, repairing and updating medical devices, installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation, repair, calibration, or configuration. Manage project timelines and customer needs.

The potential base pay range for this role is $27.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
