This role demonstrates a cross-discipline technical skills in life science and data science innovation. The candidate will guide and influence technical project direction and tackle significant technical problems by demonstrating data and digital approaches to help project teams craft studies, analyze large and complex datasets, and help visualize results.  This role establishes a strong foundational R&D understanding developed through hands-on statistical modeling/informatics analysis.

Job Qualifications

We are looking for a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Computational biology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Life Science, or Data/Modeling science with:

Strong domain knowledge in Biology, with proven experience of applying data & modeling science in biology.Proven experience and knowledge in applying innovative data & modeling tools to clean data, analyze sophisticated large datasets, and visualize. Strong background in coding (preferably Python or R), mathematics/statistics, and modeling required.Experience with machine learning is helpful.The ability to recognize opportunities for capabilities or technologies that can be reapplied across programs.Abilities to independently work project priorities, multi-task, and handle a wide variety of sophisticated, non-routine/routine tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong ownership & self-leadership skills to translate the business challenge to the technical problem to be solved and collaborate with the project team for technology development.Candidates with bold/startup experience and/or industrial experience are strongly preferred.
