THE WORK

As the Continuous Improvement Champion for Blades Operations, you will:
• Lead the team in all aspects of Continuous Improvement (CRI, CIF, MOF).
• Collaborate with cross-functional organizations to define, detail, and implement continuous improvement strategies that align with our program cost objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Develop and pilot the Sikorsky Continuous Improvement Framework within Sikorsky.
• Execute daily CI tasks such as visual management, value stream mapping, and strategies to accelerate throughput and enhance efficiency.
• Support the adoption of the Sikorsky Operating Framework to standardize practices, thereby boosting productivity across the Blades Product Center.

You’re a process-driven professional with a deep understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and an ability to foster collaborative partnerships across teams. You bring proven experience in driving operational efficiencies and are passionate about embedding a culture of excellence. Your skills in visual management, value stream mapping, and throughput optimization are complemented by a commitment to standardization and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, Master degree preferred, or equivalent experience/combined education
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment.
Able to manage multiple priorities and be flexible.
Must be able to lead a team and manage/resolve issues as they arise.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization.
Desired Skills:
MS Project Experience
Previous Continuous Improvement experience
Previous Sikorsky experience
Previous JIRA experience preferred

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
