Job Description

Are you ready to take on a crucial role in our state-of-the-art facility? As a Blender Operator, you'll be at the forefront of our manufacturing process, ensuring the consistent and high-quality blending of active drug substances. Your role will involve weighing and documenting raw materials, components, and product intermediates, as well as maintaining meticulous records of operational parameters and steps performed. Compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety policies is essential. Additionally, you'll keep our manufacturing and production areas and equipment in top condition, documenting your work in appropriate logbooks.

Responsibilities

Manufacture blend batches with active drug substances and ensure consistent blendingWeigh and document the weights of raw materials, components, and product intermediatesDocument operational parameters and steps performed in the batch recordPerform batch record accountability calculationsComply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety policiesMaintain and clean manufacturing and production areas and equipment, documenting work performed in appropriate logbooks

Essential Skills

Previous blending experience in a pharmaceutical environmentExperience in mixing, blending, batching, and production line workExperience in the food industry, manufacturing environment, and batch record documentationAbility to speak and write English effectively and complete batch record documentation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceOpen to candidates with mixing/compounding experience from industries such as foodMinimal math involved in calculations as everything is preformulated

Work Environment You'll be working in a sterile, cleanroom environment with air conditioning. We run three shifts to accommodate different schedules: 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, 2nd shift from 2 pm to 10:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Benefits - medical/dental/vision - 401k - some relocation assistance offered up to $3k and 12 weeks of paid corp housing. new facility so they will be able to help set the direction of facility and partner on process and help train and develop others as they scale and grow.
