Job Description
Our team in Easton, MD is looking for Blending Technicians to join our dynamic pharma solutions provider. We specialize in contract packaging, repackaging, and manufacturing for the pharmaceutical, OTC, dietary supplement, animal health, and medical device marketplaces.
ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and follow cGMP for all activitiesExecute and ensure blends are accurately prepared according to MBR’s and documented proceduresConsult with Lab as neededProvide properly labeled samples to Lab for testing as requiredClean and sanitize tanks and/or work areas and document as requiredUse and understand blending softwareHandle, pre-weigh, and dispose of hazardous materialsUpdate all Log Books (Blending Activity, Preventative Maintenance, and Set Up) for Blend Work CentersPerform daily calibration of blending equipment such as floor scales and pH meterPerform or assist with preventative maintenance as necessaryInstall chart recorder as neededSetup blending centers in preparation for upcoming blending activitiesAssist with training other employees to become blender techniciansGround equipment as requiredPerform pH testing for blendsEssential SkillsHigh school diplomaExperience in blending, mixing, or compoundingKnowledge of cGMP practicesAbility to use blending softwareExperience in handling hazardous materialsExperience in calibration and preventative maintenanceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in pharmaceutical manufacturingKnowledge in sample collection and laboratory proceduresUnderstanding of chemistryWork Environment
The work environment includes liquid and topical manufacturing. Facilities total 184,000 square feet and include full manufacturing and lab services, bottling, tubes, vials, pouching, form-fill-seal, kit assembly, and secondary packaging.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
