**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** The Lead Mechanic performs general supervision, advanced level preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all packaging equipment and systems. The role involves conducting line changeovers, mechanical set-up of all equipment in accordance with the packaging schedule, providing lead direction and training to other staff, and performing technical and specialized mechanical set-up duties. **Responsibilities** + Carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws. + Conduct required monthly preventative maintenance on all packaging equipment. + Perform troubleshooting and repairs of packaging and processing equipment, and mechanical and control systems. + Perform scheduled and other maintenance of all packaging equipment and specialized and critical repairs. + Perform packaging line set-ups and changeovers as needed. **Essential Skills** + Experience within BFS (Blow Fill Seal) operations. + Experience as a Packaging Mechanic with an understanding of Packaging Technology. + A minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with manufacturing and packaging equipment and systems. + Minimum 3 years of mechanical engineering experience in a regulated Food/OTC Pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment. + 3+ years of experience with BFS operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with filling machines and aseptic environments. + Experience with Rommelag machines (model numbers: 321186, 321165, 460114, 460267, and 461002). + Knowledge of GMP, packaging, aseptic processing, machine operating, and machine set-up. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan, and some relocation assistance.
