Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mold Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, safety, and basic maintenance of molds, machines, and production equipment. This role involves monitoring the molding process from start to finish and making necessary corrections, as well as diagnosing and repairing equipment issues.
ResponsibilitiesSet up, maintain, and ensure the safety of molds, machines, and production equipment.Monitor the molding process from start to finish, making corrections as necessary.Prepare for equipment job changes with thorough planning and readiness.Diagnose and analyze problems, replacing or repairing broken or worn parts on equipment.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Submit containers to the Quality department for First Article Inspection.Perform any other duties as assigned or needed.Essential SkillsStrong technical skillsAttention to detailStrong ability to troubleshoot processing issuesAbility to work overtime as neededProficiency with a variety of hand and power toolsAdditional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitudeExperience with blow molding, plastic molding, and injection moldingAbility to read and interpret blueprintsExperience in machine operation and preventive maintenanceAbility to set up and operate molding machinesWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This position requires working the 2nd shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with a 48-hour workweek and potential overtime on Friday or Saturday. Initial training will take place during the 1st shift. The work environment is focused on safety, cleanliness, and effective use of hand and power tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00
