The Tom Wood Collision Center, in Indianapolis, Indiana is currently searching for an experienced Blueprinter/ Repair Planner to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring efficient and accurate vehicle repairs. Our ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with expertise in damage diagnosis, supplement preparation, and workflow coordination.

Responsibilities: 

Oversee the disassembly process to ensure thorough completion and readiness for supplement preparation.Direct technicians in proper disassembly techniques, diagnosing damage effectively, and adhering to specific vehicle requirements, such as SRS inspections.Research OEM repair procedures and determine repair vs. replace decisions based on guidelines and damage assessment.Write detailed, evidence-based supplements with clearly itemized costs, supported by documentation and photos.Collaborate with glass techs, mechanics, and specialists during disassembly and repair planning.Work closely with the parts department to address order discrepancies and ensure parts are correctly stored, labeled, and organized.Conduct regular reviews of supplements with estimators and confirm accuracy before submission to insurance.Maintain high standards for documentation, including attaching frame measurements, OEM procedures, and supporting files to repair orders.Coordinate vehicle movements and ensure proper storage with the assistance of porters.Ensure all processes align with safety and quality standards to meet OEM and customer expectations.

 

Qualifications: 

Preferred- experience with CCCProficient with computers and technology.Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a teamAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAble to clearly and effectively communicate with othersRequired- Must have a valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record
