We are looking for a Bluetooth Tools Development and Systems Engineer with strong expertise in tools development and a deep understanding of systems engineering. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our tooling infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with the Core Bluetooth engineering team, other cross-functional teams, and external partners to identify and address software issues. If you’re passionate about enhancing customer experiences, have an eye for detail, and thrive on identifying patterns and automating workflows, this role is perfect for you! **Description** You will design and develop innovative tools and infrastructure to streamline issue resolution, with some work involving debugging system-level issues. Collaborating with engineers, you will gather requirements for new features and deliver solutions that support the successful launch of new products while optimizing debug and triage workflows. In this dynamic role, you will tackle an ever-evolving set of challenges. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and enhancing existing automation and tooling systems, as well as conceptualizing and implementing new initiatives. Additionally, you will create tools to automate the triage process and efficiently identify software bugs, while addressing system-level issues as they arise. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. + Excellent knowledge of python, C++, C, or Swift. Prior experience in developing large automation tools using python is preferred. + Experience developing and understanding test frameworks and libraries **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + Familiarity with Bluetooth is preferred + Strong cross-functional communication and relationship-building skills, both internal and with external vendors + Constantly seek to improve and automate workflows to deal with an ever expanding slate of products and features + Passion for the customer experience, and obsessive about details **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
