As a BMS Energy Engineer at Honeywell, covering\nUK South, you will be responsible for playing a crucial role in enhancing the\nenergy efficiency and performance of buildings through the maintenance and\nimprovement of Building Management Systems (BMS), working closely with building\noperators and clients to maintain and improve BMS solutions that improve the\ncomfort, safety, and sustainability of buildings. Your expertise in energy\nmanagement and control systems will contribute to reducing energy consumption,\noptimizing operational efficiency, and minimizing environmental impact.

Key responsibilities

Maintain and improve Building Management Systems (BMS) to optimize energy efficiency and operational performance as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues related to BMS functionality and performanceConduct energy audits and analyse data to identify energy-saving opportunities and develop strategies for improvementProvide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on energy management and control systemsCollaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver product demonstrations and presentations and provide technical support to the sales team during the pre-sales processIdentify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services to existing customers

Key skills and qualifications

Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy management principles ideally with experience in maintaining and improving BMS solutionsPast experience in energy engineering or related rolesProficiency in energy auditing and data analysisExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills
