Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as a Board Administrator, where you will play a crucial role in driving standardization for assigned Brightli boards. You will ensure compliance with bylaws and Robert’s Rules of Order while overseeing the board portal, Govenda. Collaborating closely with executive assistants, you will provide high-level support and direction. Your proactive approach will help anticipate and follow up on all board-related items, ensuring efficient and effective board-level activities. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure boards are following bylaws by collaborating with the Chief of Staff to maintain compliance, creating clear processes and timelines for member terms, elections, annual meetings, and committee structures.Advise executives and members on protocols using your strong working knowledge of Robert’s Rules of Order.Ensure all board actions are accurately created and recorded, including unanimous consent, board resolutions, and motions.Lead monthly board preparation meetings, preparing agendas, and communicating with board chairs as needed.Coordinate all board committee meetings, activities, and paperwork.Serve as an expert in Govenda, ensuring a smooth experience for members and executives, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is uploaded within designated time limits.Standardize processes and materials for new member orientation and ongoing training.Manage and coordinate materials from executives, ensuring timely receipt and distribution, while closely reviewing for accuracy and completeness.Perform other duties related to board administration or other departments as assigned.Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.Three years of experience in a similar role preferred.Working knowledge of Robert’s Rules of Order preferred.Additional Qualifications:
Collaborates well with executives and board members.Handles sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Strategic and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business tools.Ability to travel as required for board-related meetings and events.Ability to work in-person at our administrative building in Springfield, Missouri.Brightli is on a Mission:
