Job description
Do you enjoy teaching others to grow and accrue new skills? We are seeking a Behaviorist to join our team! You will be responsible for creating behavior support plans for individuals and train staff under the supervision of a BCBA.
Responsibilities:
+ Complete daily acquisition skills, maintenance, and mastered skills as directed by BCBA
+ Collect accurate data, complete all data sheets, programming sheets, progress notes, and billing sheets daily
+ Create behavior plan, individualized treatment plan, and positive supports
+ Implement appropriate teaching strategies and behavior modification approaches
+ Complete all programming requests from BCBAs in a timely manner
+ Adhere to NES policies and procedures
+ Assist in providing a safe environment for all individuals and staff
+ Assist with problem-solving to improve efficiency and ABA supports within the individuals homes
+ Attend weekly meetings and training as requested
+ Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Pass a background check
+ Pass a drug screening
+ Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's in Education (including Special Ed.), Psychology, or Applied Behavior Analysis, or other approved fields.
+ Must either currently have an active BCaBA license or be actively pursuing a BCBA or BCaBA license.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain all required certification.
+ Preferred skills must possess excellent skills in typing, written, and oral communication.
+ At least 1 year experience with care of persons with disabilities.
+ Attention to detail with good comprehension and reading skills
