Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is looking for a reliable and experienced Boat Driver to operate and navigate Hotel’s boats in accordance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of waterways, excellent driving skills, and the ability to provide safe and enjoyable experiences for passengers. This position will report to the Rooms Manager .

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Checks and cleans the Hotel's boats, ensuring be in good condition at all timesSends and pick up guests to and from any destination given, punctually and safely.being knowledgeable about navigationDelivers the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all timesBe familiar with the hotel’s products and services and policies.Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.Safely operate boatsConduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the boat is in good working condition, including checking engines, safety equipment, and fuel levels.Maintain and manage safety equipment, ensuring all passengers are briefed on safety procedures.Perform routine maintenance on boats and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines while operating on waterways.Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.

Qualifications

· Proven experience as a Boat Driver or in a similar role, at least 3 years

· High School Diploma and Valid boating license or certifications required by local or national authorities. (12 miles)

· Fluent in Italian and English

· In-depth knowledge of water navigation, safety regulations, and weather patterns.

· Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
