Hourly base pay rate is $17.69 - $26.54/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

As a Body Shop Helper for Manheim (a Cox Automotive company), you’ll work on all sorts of vehicles, cleaning vehicles for return to customer. If you love cars and find great satisfaction in removing imperfections from them, this is the place for you. Read on!

What You’ll Do:

Performs vehicle cleaning and preparation, including washing, wheel cleaning, waxing and buffing, polishing,

Removing finish defects, assistance with paint applications and minor repairs

Moving vehicles to support production flow through detailing and painting processes

Keeping the shop clean and orderly.

Perform other duties as assigned by your manager or supervisor

Who You Are

You’ve got a keen eye for detail, and no imperfection is safe from your watchful eye. Requirements include:

Minimum:

3+ years of relevant experience (body shop and/or prepping experience; collision and/or mechanical estimating experience). 

The ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions. 

Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.

Preferred:

A high school diploma or equivalent. 

Valid Annual Respirator Fit Test documentation. 

Valid HAPS Paint Training Certification.
