**Job Title: Body Shop Technician - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. The position involves working within a paint department that operates similarly to a body shop. The primary tasks include bonding, sanding, prepping, washing metals for paint, masking, priming, painting, and unmasking parts. You will also perform automotive body work such as grinding, buffing, sanding, dent repairs, mudding, and painting. **Responsibilities** + Bonding, sanding, prepping, and washing metals for paint + Masking, priming, painting, and unmasking parts + Performing automotive body work including grinding, buffing, sanding, dent repairs, and mudding + Using hand tools, sanders, and air tools + Repairing sheet metal and performing body repairs + Operating spray guns and working in a paint booth + Reading blueprints and following mechanical instructions + Applying powder coating **Essential Skills** + 1+ year of experience in body work, metal finishing, polishing, and paint prep + Experience using hand tools, sanders, and air tools + Proficiency with mechanical aptitude + Familiarity with sheet metal repair and body repair techniques + Experience with priming and painting using spray guns + Ability to read and interpret blueprints **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with DA grinders and pneumatic tools + Knowledge of powder coating processes + Proficiency with body shop equipment and tools **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that offers excellent benefits and opportunities for advancement!
