The Boeing Company is looking for a Boeing Test & Evaluation Quality Senior Manager to join our Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) Team located in Edwards AFB, CA to support flight test activities for the US Air Force (USAF) and US Army programs. Current span of responsibility will include California Flight Test locations in Palmdale, CA, Edwards Air Force Base, CA, Mesa AZ and El Segundo, CA.

This position will lead a team of first line leaders, who manage quality specialists and inspectors in the execution of flight test activities at the various sites listed above. This individual will be responsible for the engagement and deliverables to senior BT&E, USAF and US Army leadership.

This role will be responsible for the overall quality management of the flight test activities for the various programs being executed at the respective sites and report directly to the BT&E Quality Director.   

This position will require periodic travel to other Boeing sites 15% of the time.

Position Responsibilities:

Lead BT&E QMS implementation, management, and oversight

Ensure Contractual/FAA regulation compliance

Sustain Government Flight Representative / Government Ground Representative (GGR) interface and engagement

Communicate Program Quality metrics

Ensure Ground Operations Procedure (GOP) compliance and oversight

Review Corrective and Preventative actions

Coach and develop first line managers

Represent BT&E at weekly and monthly program level reviews

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience working with Flight Test

1+ years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance

5+ years of experience leading and/or managing a team

Bachelor’s degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Direct management experience over diverse and multi-site teams

1+ years of Test and Evaluation experience (flight and ground testing)

Experience in communicating with business partners and US Government through various media formats

Ability to work with Engineering and Ops to solve complex QMS issues

A&P license current or held prior

5+ years of experience working with Flight Test

5+ years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance

Summary Pay Range (Level L): $145,350 – $196,650
