Boiler Mechanic
Our client in Ada, MI is seeking a CMD Boiler Mechanic to join their team. As a Boiler Mechanic, you will be responsible for 24/7 boiler system operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. **_This is a 1st shift position that will require employees to be available Monday through Saturday with the department determining which days will comprise the 40 hour work week based upon scheduling demands._** **Job Title:** Boiler Mechanic **Location:** Ada, MI **Pay Range:** $35+/hr depending on experience **What's the Job?** + Responsible for all aspects of safe and efficient operation of all complex and offsite boiler systems + Identifies, analyzes, plans, and completes all preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and adjustments associated with steam generation systems and related safety devices + Responsible for maintaining the feed water and condensate return to the proper chemistry + Ensures daily work requests and projects are completed through individual or cooperative efforts + Responsible for legal compliance with Federal, State, and Local codes and departmental policies/standards + Occasionally assist HVAC mechanics with refrigeration, air conditioning, and other related equipment on an emergancy basis. **What's Needed?** + Associate Degree - HVAC degree or certificate + Boiler Operators License, State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor’s License + More than 3 years of experience + Must have a valid State of Michigan driver’s license and be able to operate fork-trucks and Sky-Trak If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
