This position is responsible for performing assigned boiler duties within scope of classification to include equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown, and equipment failure. Working hours are 6pm-6am **Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities** + Perform routine preventative maintenance on boiler equipment + Diagnose failures to boiler equipment and make repairs + Rebuild boiler equipment + Maintain records and logs as required + Compile and complete paperwork relative to include but not limited to work orders, timecards and job cards + Perform all work within safety guidelines established by local, state, and federal agencies as well as company polocies + Perform assigned tasks as assigned **Minimum Education** + High School or equivalent preferred + Advanced technical training preferred + State Stationary Engineer Level 1 License **Experience Requirements** + Boiler operator 1 - 4 years + Boiler Operator Certification preferred + Valid driver's license **Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements** + Able to move freely throughout the Agribusiness facility + Walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, working with arms above shoulder level + Climbing vertical heights (0-180') + carrying tools and equipment (0-50 pounds) + Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit) + Humidity, (0-100%) + Noise (50db to 100db) + Must be able to wear protective equipment to include self-contained breathing apparatus + May be required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities _Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
