In this role, you will ensure the efficient and safe operation of boiler systems, adhering to safety rules and standard operational procedures. **Responsibilities** + Follow all safety rules and standard operational procedures + Monitor and inspect equipment, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions + Ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely + Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts registering various aspects of boiler operation + Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of the boiler/powerhouse + Attend and participate in daily crew meetings **Essential Skills** + Experience with boiler operation, troubleshooting, and repair + Mechanical skills with high pressure systems + Ability to monitor and inspect equipment, alarms, safety devices, and meters + Experience with electrical installation and maintenance + High School Diploma/GED or equivalent + 3-5 years of related boiler experience + Commitment to an interdependent safety-first attitude + Mechanical inclination and understanding of mechanical principles + Ability to work independently and in a team empowerment culture + Flexibility and ability to adjust to the demands of the job + Strong communication skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Boiler license is ideal, or willingness to undergo training and certification + Manufacturing experience and consistent work history preferred + Ability to bend, walk, lift, and climb throughout the shift + Positive behavior supporting organizational goals and objectives + Self-starter with a high level of dependability **Why Work Here?** We put you first with a competitive salary, profit sharing plan, telemedicine, group insurance, and a pension plan with company contributions. The position requires openness to 12-hour rotating shifts between day and night, with 15 days off a month due to the schedule.
