**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Journeyman Boiler Operators** for projects located in the **Greensboro, NC area** . This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is **up to $28/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are a Boiler Operator eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Maintain boilers + Read gauges and adjust equipment consumption meters + Make routine tests of h20 + Periodically checks on the boilers + Distributes chemicals into chemical feed units based upon readings from h2o analysis test + Take hourly readings records findings in log book for: equipment gauges, motors pumps, chemical tanks, fuel oil tanks, condensate tanks, fans, and conditions inside dike wall + Inspecting equipment, valves, and controls to ensure everything is in working order before turning over operations + Carrying out tasks such as lubricating equipment and replacing worn or damaged parts + Testing boiler water for Ph levels, dissolved solids, and other parameters to ensure proper water chemistry and prevent corrosion and scaling + Keeping accurate records of boiler operations including temperatures, pressures, and maintenance activities + Following all safety protocols and regulations wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and conducting safety inspections as required **Requirements:** + High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
