Boiler Technician
**Job Title: Boiler Technician** **Job Description** The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery, installation, removal, and disposal of existing boiler systems, with a focus on 20% industrial and 80% commercial environments. This role involves setting up new boiler systems, performing regular inspections and maintenance, diagnosing and fixing issues, conducting safety checks, and resolving operational problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. **Responsibilities** + Setting up new boiler systems, ensuring they are correctly connected to water, gas, and electrical lines. + Performing regular inspections and maintenance to ensure boilers are operating efficiently and safely, including cleaning, adjusting controls, and replacing worn parts. + Diagnosing and fixing issues with boilers, such as leaks, faulty valves, or malfunctioning controls. + Conducting safety checks to ensure boilers comply with safety regulations and standards, including checking for gas leaks and ensuring proper ventilation. + Identifying and resolving operational problems using diagnostic tools and equipment. **Essential Skills** + 10+ years of experience working on boilers in industrial/commercial environments. + Prior experience working for a service-oriented company. + Expertise in HVAC systems, installation, boiler maintenance, HVAC maintenance, mechanical service, and repair. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + EPA Universal certification is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Small, family-owned organization based in Metro Detroit offers a supportive work environment with guaranteed 40-hour work weeks. Employees are provided with a company vehicle and gas card, ensuring convenience and efficiency in their work duties. **Work Environment** The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a rotating on-call schedule on Saturdays. Candidates will average 40-50 hours per week, with a guaranteed 40 hours. The work involves 20% industrial and 80% commercial environments. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Detroit, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr. Company benefits package will be available to the candidate during the interview process. Touching base with the President to get some additional information to provide during the recruiting process.
