This position is funded by the 2024 bond proceeds which is anticipated through November 2030 or at the completion of Bond projects, whichever comes first. This position is eligible for a $2500.00 Bond Signing Bonus and a continuing annual Bond Retention Bonus of $2500.00/year.
As a part of the 2024 Bond initiative, Adams 12 is kicking off a $25M program to upgrade network cabling at each site. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with the following skills and/or certifications to oversee this initiative.
Cabling PM-Specific Skills (Desired)
+ Strong understanding of network technologies (routing protocols, switching, VLANs, firewalls, wireless networking)
+ Experience with network design tools and simulation software
+ Technical expertise in network troubleshooting and fault analysis
+ Familiarity with network security best practices
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Cabling PM Certifications (Preferred, not required)
+ Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
+ Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
We have two (2) openings for a Bond Project Manager position in IT. The IT Project Manager is a career ladder position which has three levels - each with its own responsibilities, pay scale, and requirements - designed to match experience and skills levels from entry to advanced. Promotions/movement within the career ladder will be based on years of experience, education/certifications, and performance.

Bond IT Project Manager I
+ Job Summary: The role of a Bond IT Project Manager I is crucial in ensuring the successful execution and completion of technology projects. Has overall responsibility for making sure project work is completed per project plans. An IT Project Manager I may assist in managing scope, schedules, vendors, and contractual deliverables. Monitors project milestones and generate periodic status reports. Additionally, an IT Project Manager I assists more senior project managers with evaluating and managing risk. IT Project Managers adhere to district policies and processes and incorporate quality measures and standards into project deliverables.
+ Pay Range:
+ IT Level 4 (minimum: $47,128- mid-point: $58,182- maximum: $69,237)
+ 1.0 Full Time (40 hours - 12 months)
+ Experience Required:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, communication or related area. Four (4) additional years of similar or relevant experience may be substituted for this requirement.
+ Minimum of 1 (one) year of progressively responsible experience on project teams including planning, problem solving and leadership activities. Experience related to public-facing customer service, technology projects, public safety, and school districts preferred.
+ Knowledge of technology, systems or IT Processes.
+ Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
+ License or Certifications:
+ Criminal background check required for hire.
+ Valid driver’s license and qualified to drive district vehicles
Bond IT Project Manager II
+ Job Summary: The role of a Bond IT Project Manager II is crucial in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of technology projects. IT Project Manager II manages and/or assists with all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on-time and within scope. Responsible for managing scope, schedule, vendors, and contractual deliverables. Being an IT Project Manager II helps develop detailed project plans, monitors project milestones, and generates periodic status reports. Additionally, IT Project Manager II evaluates and manages risk. IT Project Managers adhere to district policies and processes and incorporate quality measures and standards into project deliverables. Possesses strong knowledge of technology.
+ Pay Range:
+ IT Level 7 (minimum: $78,874- mid-point: $89,113- maximum: $117,685)
+ 1.0 Full Time (40 hours - 12 months)
+ Experience Required:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, communication or related area. Four (4) additional years of similar or relevant experience may be substituted for this requirement.

Bond IT Project Manager III
+ Job Summary: The role of a Bond IT Project Manager III is crucial in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of technology projects. IT Project Manager III manages complex projects from planning through delivery. Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and plans are communicated. A Project Manager III utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines. Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders. Additionally, Project Manager III plans and facilitates meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and track project tasks. Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries. Monitors task completion status to identify project risks and develop risk management plans. Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary. An IT Project Manager team may directly manage internal staff. IT Project Managers adhere to district policies and processes and incorporate quality measures and standards into project deliverables. Possesses strong knowledge of technology.

+ IT Level 11 (minimum: $94,531- mid-point: $118,164- maximum: $141,797)

+ Cost: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints and alignment with district policies and processes.
+ Portfolio Management: Oversee multiple projects within a program/portfolio. Monitor district and departmental strategies and priorities. Prioritize projects within the scope of the PMO.
SALARY INFORMATION:
The salary listed is for full time positions (1.0 FTE). This salary will be adjusted, as needed, based upon the FTE. Administrative employees' salary will be commensurate on the employees’ education and/or work experience.
