Job DescriptionMSNBC is looking for a Booking Production Assistant to join our team at the Washington bureau.
The Booking PA is our primary ambassador and first point of introduction for all guests appearing on MSNBC from the Bureau. The PA is responsible for greeting all guests upon arrival and will work directly with various show anchors and producers to assist in production of live news within the Washington bureau.
The ideal candidate is well organized, proactive, resourceful, and able to interact with people with ease. Candidates must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The position will also allow the candidate to work alongside our industry-leading guest bookers and senior booking managers, assisting with guest pre-interviews, research and social media outreach during breaking news. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain exposure to guest booking and learn how build connections across the industry.
