The Bookkeeper job in Scarborough, Maine is responsible for recording and verifying day to day transactions, entering data, and processing accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner. You’ll have a solid understanding of how to accurately reconcile each account monthly, as well as complete necessary tax forms. This is a full time, Monday-Friday position. 

Bookkeeper Qualifications: 

Associates degree in finance, accounting or business administration

Hands on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software

Proficiency in English and MS Office  

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting

Data entry skills 

Excellent customer service and negotiation skills

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail 

Bookkeeper Details: 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay Rate: $20-26/hr

Start Date: ASAP
